Draw On with Mr. Skip
Thursday, June 21, 4-5 pm.
A tale to ‘draw’ you in…Skip, or “Mr. Skip” as he’s known at Miller-Driscoll School, likes to draw. He is the author and illustrator behind the books “If Picasso were a Fish” and “Holy Mackerel” among others, the Sharpie behind many hallway bulletin boards at Miller-Driscoll and artistic talent behind Mildred, the school’s new mascot. Draw with Mr. Skip is an hour’s worth of time exploring and creating characters using a black pen and the blank side of a sheet or more of recycled library paper. It will be fun and it is almost guaranteed there will be at least one penguin and possibly a manatee drawn during the course of the afternoon. Of course there will be rhinos. Registration required. Caregivers must remain in the building.
