Introduction to Knitting for Teens

Thursday, Nov. 15, 4 – 5:30 p.m.
Teens in grades 6-12 are invited to participate in this interactive workshop where they will learn introductory knitting techniques of casting on, the knit stitch, the purl stitch, and binding off. Materials will be provided. Shirley Spencer, President of the Candlewood Valley Knitting Guild, will lead the workshop. In addition to teaching, Ms. Spencer designs and writes knitting patterns.
