Mark Schenker: Literature and Life Symposium

The “Literature and Life” program according to Schenker, “is an introduction to how to read literature that is between reading for pleasure and reading as a professional critic or educator.” Mark J. Schenker holds a Ph.D. from Columbia University in English and Comparative Literature and is associate dean of Yale College, as well as a lecturer. He will follow this introductory lecture with a three-part series, which he titles “Gods and Monsters,” in October. Registration and more detail will follow in September. Registration is recommended.
