Teen Summer Reading Program
Monday, June 27
Read a book, record it on a personalized ‘passport,’ and be eligible to win weekly prizes and/or the grand prize! Come to the Teen Department Mondays-Fridays to sign up for a passport and begin reading. Program runs from June 27-August 7.
- Week 1 (6/27-7/2) $10 to Starbucks;
- Week 2 (7/4-7/9) $10 to Swizzles;
- Week 3 (7/11-7/16) $10 to Steve’s Bagels;
- Week 4 (7/18-7/23) $15 to iTunes store;

Wednesday Wanderings
Ambler Farm
Wednesday, July 27, 2-3 pm PROGRAM FULL
Join Wilton Library at Ambler Farm (257 Hurlbutt Street) for one of this summer’s Wednesday Wanderings, part of the library’s “Plant the Seed and Read” summer reading program. Kevin Meehan will give the library group a tour of the farm and a hayride. Children will see the gardens, bees, rabbits, sheep, chickens, and goats and learn about the wonderful workings of local Wilton farm. Remember to bring your cameras! Ages 4-10, caregivers must be present. Registration is required. Co-sponsored by Wilton Library and Ambler Farm.

Dinosaur Club
Wednesday, July 27, 4-5:30 pm
This weekly club is seeking qualified students entering grades 4-6 to participate in a Science Competition at Yale University held annually in November. The club will explore dinosaurs, fossils, paleobiology, geology and more, through presentations, discussions and demonstrations. The program will include experiments, model building, field trips and hands-on creative activities. August dates: August 3, 10, 17 & 24. Registration required.

Tai Chi and Qigong for Teens
Wednesday, July 27, 4-5:30 pm
Teens entering grades 7-12 and recent HS graduates explore and test out the ancient Chinese forms of spiritual and self-defense practices in Tai Chi and Qigong. Wear loose and comfortable clothing. Registration suggested. Sponsored by the John and Patricia Curran Teen Fund.
