Teen Summer Reading Program
Monday, June 27
Read a book, record it on a personalized ‘passport,’ and be eligible to win weekly prizes and/or the grand prize! Come to the Teen Department Mondays-Fridays to sign up for a passport and begin reading. Program runs from June 27-August 7.
- Week 1 (6/27-7/2) $10 to Starbucks;
- Week 2 (7/4-7/9) $10 to Swizzles;
- Week 3 (7/11-7/16) $10 to Steve’s Bagels;
- Week 4 (7/18-7/23) $15 to iTunes store;
- Week 5 (7/25-7/30) $15 to Wilton Pizza;
- Week 6 (8/1-8/6) $15 to Bowtie Cinemas.

Wonderful Ones and Twos with Caregivers
Tuesday, August 2, 10:15-10:45 am
This program is a sharing time for 1 and 2 year olds and their caregivers. The emphasis is on books, with some songs and toy time. 6-week program. No registration.

Look, Listen and Learn
Tuesday, August 2, 11-11:30 am
For 3 and 4 years olds with parent/caregiver. By interacting with stories, singing songs and acting out finger plays and rhymes, children in this program gain pre-reading skills and learn how to participate in a group setting. 6-week program. No registration.

Teen Drop-in Summer Crafts
Marble Magnets
Tuesday, August 2, 11 am-4 pm
Drop by the teen area between 11 am and 4 pm (or until supplies run out) and make your own marble magnet. For teens entering grades 7-12 and recent HS graduates. No registration required. See website for more teen drop-in crafts. Sponsored by the John and Patricia Curran Teen Fund.

Literary Littles
Tuesday, August 2, 2:15-3 pm
For independent listeners ages 4-6 years. Story time that provides children with experiences that enrich early literacy with stories, short films, songs and crafts. 6- week program. No registration.
