The Buzz on Bees
Thursday, August 11, 2-3 pm
Master bee keeper Leslie Huston will join us for this hands-on presentation about bees. Ms. Huston will share her knowledge of bees with a lively, interactive program in which children will have the opportunity to get a close look at her observation hive and bee keeper’s equipment. Kids are sure to have a great time! Children ages 4-10 with caregivers. Registration required. Sponsored by the Fink Family Fund for Wilton Library’s Environmental Initiative.

Teen Book Trailers

Thursday, August 11, 3–5 pm
Teens create book trailers for the Wilton Library’s website. Use Windows Movie Maker with images, a script and sound bites. Come with your favorite teen book or use one of ours! For students entering grades 7-12 and recent High School graduates. Registration required. Limited space.

Mythology Club for Kids

Thursday, August 11, 6:30-7:30 pm
Children in grades 3-5 are invited to join us for this exciting new book club! Each month we will read a book on a mythological theme and discuss it. Snacks will be provided and an activity or craft will be made. The book for the month of August is Zeus King of the Gods by George O’Connor and there will be activities about the Greek Gods. Caregivers must remain in the building for children under 12. Registration required. Sponsored by the Sherman Family Fund.
