Parenting Book Series:
Dr. Susan Bauerfeld
Thursday, September 22, 7-8:30 pm
Due to popular demand, this is a repeat of the first session held on 9/20. In this new Parenting Book series will try to introduce parents to important books on parenting. Dr. Susan Bauerfeld, a licensed clinical psychologist and mother of three boys, will review several parenting books over the course of the year. The books will represent a smattering of what is out there. Sessions will consist of an overview of each book and the premise; general practical suggestion o how to apply the principles set forth in the book, and a Q&A period. Preparation for each session (e.g. reading the book) is not required but will most likely enhance the discussion and benefit of the session. The series will take place on the third Tuesday of alternating, months with the exception of January (9/20, 11/15, 1/10, 3/20, and 5/15). The book for September 20th is The Childhood Roots of Adult Happiness by Edward Hallowell. Registration strongly encouraged.
