The Literary Horse:

When Legends Come to Life Exhibition
Tuesday, August 30 through Thursday, September 29
Enjoy an exhibition of photographs by Vanessa Smith of horses and riders, paired with quotations from world-famous books, highlighting those published before 1923. Ms. Smith teaches equine photography and creative writing for horse lovers. The exhibition has been organized specifically to tour schools and libraries. Exhibit runs through Thursday, September 29.

Wilton Library’s Children’s Book Sale

September 25, 1-5 pm (items ½ price).
The annual fundraiser includes a large selection of brand-new and gently-used picture books, chapter books, classics, series, videos, and DVDs. Note: Sunday items are ½ price.

Wilton Candlelight Concerts

Candlelight Concerts opens its 64th season with a recital featuring Mozart’s Fantasy in C minor and Schumann’s Kreisleriana, performed by one of the preeminent concert artists of our time, Richard Goode. Gramophone Magazine calls his playing ”thrilling from first to last.” All performances are on Sunday afternoons at the Wilton Congregational Church located at 70 Ridgefield Road, Wilton.
