Children ages 2-5 with caregivers are invited to this book and movie pairing. Each week we will read a story and watch the accompanying Weston Woods animated adaptation. This week we will read and watch Giggle, Giggle, Quack by Doreen Cronin and The Three-Legged Cat by Margaret Mahy. No registration.

Black & White and Read All Over Art Exhibition Opening Reception

This exhibition presents new works of art from Women’s Caucus for Art-Connecticut, that combine words, text, and images. The works exhibited will include words with images in a way which will work with and inform each other. Language can be used to transform art from the merely aesthetic into the creative and political, in much the same way as poetry or political speech can do the same. Reception open to the public. Exhibit runs through Tuesday, November 29. A portion of the proceeds benefits the library.
