Friday, November 11, 6-7 pm
Dr. Albert Brown, now 105 years old, is not only the oldest living veteran of World War II, but even more astounding is the fact that Dr. Brown is also the oldest confirmed survivor of the Bataan Death March of 1942, which left thousands of people dead. Don’t miss this Veterans’ Day chance to hear all about Dr. Brown’s remarkable life and World War II experiences when Danbury authors, Don Morrow and Kevin Moore, visit the library to discuss their biography of Dr. Brown-Forsaken Heroes of the Pacific War: One Man’s True Story. See library’s website for speaker details. Books available for purchase and signing. Registration recommended.
