Twice-weekly classes in English for Speakers of Other Languages continues on Mondays and Wednesdays until December 21 at the Wilton Library by Westport Continuing Education. Testing and registration required.

Lego Club
Wednesday, November 2, 9, 16 & 30, 4-5 pm
Kids in grades 3 and up are invited to join this weekly Lego® Club. Each session will be based on a new theme such as castles, vehicles, towers and more. Children will learn about the theme through stories and non-fiction books and then create a Lego masterpiece from the library’s Lego collection. A great time for all! There are 20 spots available for this program on a first come first serve basis. Tickets will be passed out at the Children’s reference desk starting at 3:45 pm the day of the program each week. This program runs for 4 sessions in November; no session 11/23. Sponsored by the Coyle Family Young Readers Fund.

Author Talk: Michael Gross – Unreal Estate
Wednesday November 30, 7-8:30 pm
Michael Gross is the preeminent chronicler of America’s rich and powerful, most recently in 740 Park and Rogues’ Gallery. In his latest entry, Unreal Estate, he uncovers the secrets of Los Angeles, a place renowned for secrets and cover ups of the wealthiest kinds. Gross explores the most private sections of Beverly Hills, Bel Air, Holmby Hills, and Beverly Park and delves into the dark histories that exist there. Talk followed by a Q&A, book sales and signing. Books provided by Elm Street Books, New Canaan. Registration highly recommended.
