Wilton Library Readers

Professional book discussion leader Susan Boyar discusses A Tale of Two Cities by Charles Dickens. Group meets second Wednesday of each month from September through May (no meeting in December). Lego Club
Wednesday, January 4, 11, 18 & 25, 4-5 pm
Kids in grades 3 and up are invited to join this weekly Lego® Club. Each session will be based on a new theme such as castles, vehicles, towers and more. Children will learn about the theme through stories and non-fiction books and then create a Lego masterpiece from the library’s Lego collection. A great time for all! There are 20 spots available for this program on a first come first serve basis. Tickets will be passed out at the Children’s reference desk starting at 3:45 pm the day of the program each week. This program runs for 4 weeks in January. Sponsored by the Coyle Family Young Readers.

Wilton Up Close Teen Photography Project
Framing Session
Tuesday, January 10 or Wednesday, January 11, 5-7 pm
Wilton Up Close students frame their photos in this on-going photography project with Daryl Hawk. Registration filled.

PTA Council’s Reflections Reception

Wednesday, January 11, 6-8 pm
A reception for the Wilton PTA Council’s Reflections program for the 2011-2012 season will be held in the Children’s Library. During the reception, screenings from the categories of dance/choreography, musical composition, and film/video production from Wilton students in grades K – 12 will be shown continuously on a large screen. Entries in photography and the visual arts (which includes art forms such as drawing, painting, print making, and collage) from Wilton students in grades K – 12 are on display in the Children’s Library through Wednesday, January 18. Refreshments provided.

Poetry in Motion Participants’ Meeting
