Author Talk: The Memory of All That – Katharine Weber

Thursday, January 12, 7-8:30 pm
The Memory Of All That: George Gershwin, Kay Swift, and My Family’s Legacy of Infidelities is Katharine Weber’s memoir of her extraordinary family. From her maternal grandmother’s affair with George Gershwin and her grandfather’s connections and feud with FDR, to her notorious father’s affairs and World War II propaganda films for which J. Edgar Hoover followed him for 40 years, including noting the author’s birth, Weber’s story is engaging. Other works by the author (in reverse order) are True Confections: A Novel, Triangle: A Novel, The Little Women: A Novel, The Music Lesson: A Novel, and Objects in Mirror Are Closer Than They Appear. Q&A, book sales and signing to follow the talk. Registration highly recommended.
