Twice-weekly classes in English for Speakers of Other Languages begin Monday, January 30 and continue on Mondays and Wednesdays until April 25th at the Wilton Library given by Westport Continuing Education. Testing and registration required (Placement testing at Wilton Library, Wednesday, January 18, from 9:30-11:30 am).

Please join Jeff Yates, Wiltonian and former editor of the Wilton Bulletin, as he tells us about his newly published, 200-page Fly Fishing Fairfield County: Secrets of Suburban Streams. This guide to local fly-fishing is filled with photos, easy to read maps indicating local roads and parking spots, and thorough descriptions of every trout stream in the region. Jeff currently serves as President of the Mianus Chapter of Trout Unlimited, an all-volunteer group which conserves, protects and restores the coldwater rivers and streams in lower Fairfield County. Light refreshments are served at Area Author Affairs held to celebrate our local authors. Books available for purchase and signing. Registration recommended.
