Shakespeare Workshop with the Westport Country PlayhouseThursday, March 22, 4-4:45 pm
Join Westport Country Playhouse staff members for a fun exploration of Shakespearean plots and characters, geared for ages 9 and up. Produced in conjunction with Westport Playhouse’s April 1, 2012 performance of Nearly Lear by Susanna Hamnett, this workshop will use language exercises, miming and theater games to introduce children to the wonders of Shakespeare. Children will get up on their feet and respond to Shakespeare physically and vocally, learning that Shakespeare is for everyone. Registration required, free of charge. Hands Only CPR-2 Steps to Save a LifeThursday, March 22, 7-8:30 pm
All are welcome(*) to this free one-hour class sponsored by the Wilton Volunteer Ambulance Corps and Wilton Library. (*) Must be a Wilton resident or working for a Wilton business, a minimum of 18 years old and ‘able-bodied’ to perform chest compressions while on one’s knees. Registration begins at 7 pm; class begins promptly at 7:30. Registration required.
