March 5th Session Cancelled due to inclement weather!

Mother Goose on the Loose is a themed story time for children ages 6 months to 2 years old. Children will sing songs, listen to stories, move to music, and learn nursery rhymes. Mother Goose on the Loose is a research-based program intended to help infants and toddlers develop early literacy skills in an active and fun environment. Felt boards, puppets, instruments, and props will be used.  Registration Filled.

Discover Innovation Station's Digital Scanner.  Learn how to scan photos, slides and negatives and then convert them into digital pictures. For ages 13-113.  Must have a valid CT Library card and signed Innovation Station Agreement form.  Please bring the completed form to the workshop. Space limited to 3 students per session.  Registration required. 

Bring your Magic cards and come join others in this wizardry game of chance and skill. For teens in grades 7 - 9.

Interested in learning how to use the Cricut Explore, an electronic cutting machine and software for cards, scrapbooks and more? For ages 13-113. Must have a valid CT library card and signed Innovation Station Agreement form. Please bring the completed form to the workshop. Space limited to 3 students.  Registration required.

Kids ages 8 and up are invited to join Wilton Library’s Minecraft Computer Club. A server for Fairfield County has been set up with a virtual world where the Minecraft community in Wilton can meet and the club welcomes the enthusiasts. Please note: Minecraft is a subscription-based, online game. Players must bring their own laptop and create their own account. Handheld devices are not recommended because they run a Minecraft app that does not work with the same server. To be added to the Fairfield County server you must visit the Children’s Desk with a valid library card to be registered. Caretakers must sign in their child with staff member. If the child is not present and signed in by 10:10, the place may be given to a waitlisted child. Caretakers must remain in the building. Registration required; no fee.

Wilton Library’s Innovation Day will showcase the work of all kinds and ages of makers—anyone who is embracing STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art or Math) or the DIY (Do-It-Yourself) movement and wants to share their accomplishments with an appreciative audience.  Presentations, workshops, and exhibitions– we’re looking for them all!  We particularly encourage those who demonstrate the process of making things or have interactive exhibits. There will be no selling of merchandise or services, but exhibitors are free to distribute information or accept orders for their products or services.  Apply today!
