Learn how to use our electronic embroidery machine and personalize a chef's apron, dog's bandana, golf towel, baby's bib, napkins and more. Prices vary from $4 - $10. Payable upon arrival.

For 7th graders to adults and 6th graders accompanied by adults who are willing to learn too. Must have a valid CT library card and signed Innovation Station Agreement Form. Please bring the completed form to the workshop. Registration required. Register online or call 203-762-6342.

Bring your wonderful baby to this infant friendly program at the Wilton Library! We will sing and play and enjoy gentle stories geared for babies under 12 months old. This is an excellent forum to meet other new parents in the area. Bring dad too! Caregivers must be present. No registration required. 

Judson Scruton leads this 4-part Autumn Poetry Seminar Series in which we will do a close reading of five pairs of poems in the context of William Logan’s new book Dickinson’s Nerves, Frost’s Woods, Poetry in the Shadow of the Past. Please join us on four Wednesdays: October 3, 10, 17, and 24. Please note: this series is taking place on Wednesdays, not our usual Thursdays. See the library’s registration link for the concept behind this seminar and the poems that will be examined.  Judson Scruton, M.A (The Johns Hopkins University, The Writing Seminars, specializing in poetry)  has taught creative writing and literature at prep schools and universities. In his career as an educator, Judson has also directed publications, communications, public relations, and development at a variety of educational institutions in the U.S. and U.K. including the Newberry Library in Chicago. He is currently an Adjunct Professor of English at Fairfield University. Poetry packet available at front desk one week before the seminar begins; in addition, the library will have copies of Logan’s book available for use in the library. No charge for the program. This program is a sharing time for 1 and 2-year-olds and their caregivers. The emphasis is on books, with some songs and toy time. No registration, no program charge. 

Finished scanning in your photos, but want to learn some basic tips on enhancing them? This introductory session will get you started.
