Welcome to Wilton Library

Create unique Valentine's Day cards using the Cricut, our die cutter. For 7th graders to adults and 6th graders accompanied by adults who are willing to learn too.  Must have a valid CT Library card and signed Innovation Station Agreement Form.   Space limited to 2 per session. Registration required.

Join us for hand clapping-toe tapping songs, finger plays and stories that encourage emerging language skills. No program charge. No registration required. Children must be accompanied by caregivers.

Kids ages 8 and up are invited to join Wilton Library’s Minecraft Computer Club. A server for Fairfield County has been set up with a virtual world where the Minecraft community in Wilton can meet and the club welcomes the enthusiasts. Please note: Minecraft is a subscription-based, online game. Players must bring their own laptop and create their own account. Handheld devices are not recommended because they run a Minecraft app that does not work with the same server. To be added to the Fairfield County server you must visit the Children’s Desk with a valid library card to be registered. Caretakers must sign in their child with staff member. If the child is not present and signed in by 10:10, the place may be given to a waitlisted child. Caretakers must remain in the building. Registration required; no fee.

Come to a Raggedy Ann Valentine Tea Party! Children ages 4 and up will listen to some of the timeless Raggedy Ann and Andy stories by Johnny Gruelle, a Wilton resident, who wrote them for his daughter Marcella a hundred years ago. Old Fashioned Valentines like the candy heart that belongs to Raggedy Ann will be made and then children will attend a Valentine Tea Party. A pair of Raggedy Ann and Andy dolls will be raffled off. Children can bring their own Raggedy Ann dolls or Teddies if they wish.  Registration required.  If your child has food allergies please check with children's library staff before signing up.

Valentine's Day and you still don't have a card? No problem! Stop into Wilton Library's Innovation Station and make a unique card for that special someone.  For 7th graders - adult and 6th grade students accompanied by an adult.  No registration. Available while supplies last.

The library now has a new look for its Wilton Library cards.  The cards reflect the original art found in many of the library’s murals that make it such a special place to visit. The Children’s Library murals and entrance were created by Ed MacEwen and the teen mural was created by library staffer Tom Swick with a group of teens.  People can choose from six different images for a bit of personalization.  There is no charge for new accounts; replacement cards are $1.00.  See Choices

Please note that Wilton Library has replaced its phone system and we now have new direct telephone numbers.
