Welcome to Wilton Library

Events:

Bring your wonderful baby to this infant friendly program at Wilton Library. We will sing and play and enjoy gentle stories geared for babies under 12 months old. This is an excellent forum to meet other new parents in the area. Program runs for 10 weeks. No registration, no fee. Caregivers must be present.

This program is a sharing time for 1 and 2 year-olds and their caregivers. The emphasis is on books, with some songs and toy time. Program runs for 10 weeks. No registration, no program fee.

Can't come to story time because you have a morning napper? No problem. Join us on Wednesday afternoons for a story followed by a chance to build and play with Duplo Legos. Adding 'build and play' to story time helps develop early literacy skills and encourages creativity.  For ages 2-5. Caregivers must remain with children. No registration required.

Come learn to solder and go home with a fun blinking pin! For 7th graders - adult and 6th grade students accompanied by an adult willing to learn too!  Must have a valid CT Library cards and signed Innovation Station Agreement Form. Please bring the completed form to the workshop. Space limited to 4 students. Registration required; no charge.

February brings Merill Comeau to the Weir Farm Artist-in-Residence program. Merrill's work takes the shape of murals and garments that explore historical and contemporary women’s roles: the toil of the maker, the privilege of the wearer, the job of mothering, how to be a ‘good’ daughter, and societal expectations for sexual and emotional expression. Co-sponsored by Weir Farm Art Center and Weir Farm National Historic Site and presented by Wilton Library. No charge. Registration suggested.
