Each week the crafts are tied into the summer reading theme of 'Wind, Water and World'. There also will be an original coloring sheet by staff member Shayna Simpson. No registration required, all ages. Caregivers must stay with children under 8; 8 – 12 caregivers must stay in the building.

Weekly drop-in for knitters and crocheters. Make new friends, get tips and share ideas while working on your own projects. New to stitching but want to give it a try? We have needles and yarn for you to test out. No registration required.

A great essay can push your application into the admit pile! College admissions consultant Beth Manners will introduce both the main and supplemental essays and discuss how to write pieces that stand out and tell your story. Bring laptops/notebooks for this working session and Beth will review your ideas, drafts or help you brainstorm and get started.   For rising seniors only. Space limited. Registration required. Join the library for 2 and 3 year old story time. Children ages 2 and 3 years old and their caregivers will sing songs, listen to stories, and enjoy playtime together while building literacy and social skills. No registration, no fee.

Learn how to use the Cricut, our die cutter and create a unique tumbler or water bottle to give someone or use yourself! $5 for a tumbler or $8 for a glass water bottle to offset costs, payable upon arrival.   Must have a valid CT Library Card and signed Innovation Station Agreement form. For 7th graders - adults and 6th graders accompanied by adults willing to learn, too.Must have a valid CT Library card and signed Innovation Station Agreement Form.   Please bring the completed form to the session. Space limited to 2 per session. Registration required.
