Events:

Do you have a box of old home videos? Wish you could still watch some of those funny or touching family moments? If so, come learn how to convert them to DVDs. For 7th graders through adults and 6th grade students accompanied by adults who are willing to learn too! Must have a valid CT Library card and signed Innovation Station Agreement form. Please bring the completed form to the workshop. Space limited to 1 student per session. Registration required. This is for home videos only and conversion time is one-to-one.

Children ages 2 and 3 years old and their caregivers will sing songs, listen to stories, and enjoy playtime together while building literacy and social skills. Program runs for 10 weeks. No registration, no fee.

In this one-on-one session, let us introduce you to our electronic embroidery machine and monogram a tea towel, apron, baby bib or burp cloth. Aprons available for $7. All other items are $5.  For 7th graders to adults and 6th graders accompanied by adults willing to learn too.   Must have a valid CT library card and signed Innovation Station Agreement Form. Long Island Sound is home to sharks, squid, sea turtles and more. The Maritime Aquarium's Traveling Teachers will be coming to the Wilton Library and doing a series of after-school Science programs. In the 8 sessions offered, students learn what shark skin feels like, and how to identify different kinds of crabs and jellies. Live animals and science experiments bring to life the animals of the Sound, the issues they face, and what we can all do to make a difference in their environment. Supported by the Amadeo Family. Registration required, students will be registered for all 8 sessions when they sign up. For grades 3-5. Register online or call 203-762-6336. 

3D Computer Design: Learn how to use TinkerCAD, a free online Computer Aided Design program, to make a simple 3D puzzle! For ages 8 - 12 only, registration is required. Register online or call 203-762-6336.

Book It! March 9th – Give Where You Live!

Wilton Library is taking part in Fairfield County’s Community Foundation Giving Day on Thursday, March 9, 2017!  Help us reach our fundraising goal for this 24-hour online giving event by donating as little as $10 or as much as you want. March Maker Madness: Ladies’ Night Out

Join our modern take on the Ladies' Night out on Tuesday, March 7, 8 – 10 pm. Sip wine, nibble on appetizers and create fun and easy DIY projects by the fire! No experience necessary. Bring a friend or make new ones! Materials, appetizers and wine provided. Registration required; $30 per person.
