Mother Goose Time

Mother Goose Time is a themed story time for children ages 1-4. Children will sing songs, listen to stories, move to music, and learn nursery rhymes. Felt boards, puppets, instruments, and props will be used.
Parenting Book Series: Dr. Susan Bauerfeld

Dr. Susan Bauerfeld, a licensed clinical psychologist, ADHD Coach and mother of three boys, reviews several parenting books over the course of the year chosen for their soundness and relevance to the community. The series takes place on three Tuesdays – Nov. 13, Jan. 8 and March 12. The book for November is The Price of Privilege: How Parental Pressure and Material Advantage Are Creating a Generation of Disconnected and Unhappy Kids by Madeline Levine, Ph.D. No charge. Co-sponsored by Wilton Youth Council, Parent Connection, Wilton Library and United Way of Coastal Fairfield County. Registration strongly encouraged.
Fascinating Fairy Tales
Tuesday, Nov. 13, 27, 2:15 – 3 p.m.
Children ages 4-6 are invited to join the library for a Folk Tale and Fairy Tale-themed story time. Children can hear stories, watch short films, and participate in fairy tale-themed activities. This program is for independent listeners with a caregiver in the building. Dates: Nov. 13, 27, Dec. 4, 11, 18. Sponsored by the Coyle Family Young Readers Fund
Breast Cancer Survivors’ Support Group
Tuesday, Nov. 13, 6 – 8 p.m.
A monthly support group for post-treatment cancer survivors will be held at Wilton Library. The Breast Cancer Survival Center, a Fairfield county non-profit, has been holding support groups, retreats and candle lightings for the past 12 years. Hands Only CPR – 2 Steps to Save a Life

All are welcome(*) to this free one-hour class sponsored by the Wilton Volunteer Ambulance Corps and Wilton Library.
(*) Must be a Wilton resident or working for a Wilton business, a minimum of 18 years old and ‘able-bodied’ to perform chest compressions while on one’s knees.
Registration begins at 7 p.m.; class begins promptly at 7:30. Registration required.
