Exam Time Study Rooms for Wilton High School Students

Monday, Jan. 14 through Thursday, Jan. 17, 12 – 5 p.m.
Quiet study space on the second floor of the library will be available from 12 to 5 each day for students to study for mid-term exams. Students may also book individual study rooms until 8 p.m. each evening by calling Wilton Library’s reference librarians at 203-762-3950, ext. 211.

Literary Littles

Monday, Jan. 7 through Feb 25, 2:15 – 3 pm.
For independent listeners ages 4-6 years-old. This is a story time that provides children with experiences that enrich early literacy. Children will hear stories, watch short films, sing songs, and do a craft. This program repeats for 6 sessions. No sessions Jan. 21 or Feb. 18.

Hot & Cool: Jazz at the Brubeck Room – Stranahan/Zaleski/Rosato

Sunday, Jan. 5, 4 – 5:30 p.m.
Percussionist Colin Stranahan and jazz pianist Glenn Zaleski return to Wilton Library and are joined by bassist Rick Rosato for the library’s first concert of the new year in this popular jazz series. See registration link for more information. Reception following the concert. Suggested donation: $10. Funded by William and Karen Tell Foundation with special thanks to Ed and Catherine Romer and Chris & Tish Brubeck. Advance registration strongly suggested. WLA/LWV – Reel Mondays: U.S. Healthcare –The Good News

Monday, Jan. 14 , 7 – 9:30 p.m.
In this documentary, former Washington Post correspondent T. R. Reid explores the cost disparities of healthcare and examples of some successful models being used in the U.S.
A discussion follows the film with host moderator Elaine Abrams, RN, MPH, community health coordinator at Visiting Nurse and Hospice of Fairfield County, President-Elect of the CT Public Health Association and a public health advocate for 30 years. Refreshments served. Co-sponsored by the Wilton League of Women Voters and Wilton Library. Registration recommended.
