Exam Time Study Rooms for Wilton High School Students
Monday, Jan. 14 through Thursday, Jan. 17, 12 – 5 p.m.
Quiet study space on the second floor of the library will be available from 12 to 5 each day for students to study for mid-term exams. Students may also book individual study rooms until 8 p.m. each evening by calling Wilton Library’s reference librarians at 203-762-3950, ext. 211.
Author Reading for Kids
Thursday, Jan. 17 , 4 – 4:30 p.m.
Children ages 3 through 7 and their caregivers are invited to join us for a book reading by author Linda Petrie Bunch. Linda will share her book A Snow Day for Hannah as well as a short video. Hannah is Ms. Petrie Bunch’s Bernese Mountain Dog. The book contains a wonderful story in rhyme accompanied by pictures. Linda Petrie Bunch is a self-published author from Colorado. Petrie Bunch works with several community organizations and enjoys photography and making documentaries. Books will be available for purchase and signing courtesy of Elm Street Books.
Author Talk: Karen Engelmann—The Stockholm Octavo

Karen Engelmann’s dazzling debut, The Stockholm Octavo, is set during Stockholm’s opulent Golden Age and brilliantly interweaves history, romance and intrigue, in which one man’s fortune holds the key to a nation’s precarious fate. Engelmann spent nine years in Malmo, Sweden working for companies like IKEA where the idea of this book grew to life. She is the 2011 winner of the American Scandinavian Society Cultural Award Grant.
