WGG/WLA Green Speaker Series/Film: Switch
Thursday, Jan. 31, 7 – 9 p.m.
Wilton Go Green and Wilton Library partner together to screen the environmental film, Switch, a narration about the sweeping transition from coal and oil to the energies of tomorrow – fossil, nuclear and renewable. The documentary also focuses on the changing energy conversation – looking at practical realities and encouraging a balanced understanding, as well as the changing way the world uses energy. Dr. Scott Tinker takes viewers on a journey through the world’s leading energy sites, from coal to solar, oil to biofuels. In the end, he lays out a path to our energy future that is both surprising and remarkably pragmatic. For more information about the Switch Energy Project visit www.switchenergyproject.com/. Discussion following the film will be moderated by Becky Bunnell, co-founder of Wilton Go Green. The film screening and discussion is co-sponsored by Wilton Go Green and Wilton Library. Registration recommended.
