Join Wilton Library for 2 and 3-year old story time. Children and their caregivers will sing songs, listen to stories, and enjoy playtime together while building literacy and social skills. The program runs 8 weeks.
Look, Listen and Learn
Tuesday, Jan. 8 through Tuesday, Feb. 26 , 11:00 – 11:30 pm.
For 3 and 4 years-olds with a caregiver. By interacting with stories, singing songs and acting out finger plays and rhymes, children in this program gain pre-reading skills and learn how to participate in a group setting. The program repeats for 8 weeks.
Tuesday Book Buzz

Looking for something good to read next? Bring a friend and join the Book Buzz conversation moderated by Lauren McLaughlin and Melissa Baker, two of Wilton Library’s knowledgeable librarians, on the third Tuesday of each month. Participants are encouraged to come and chat about their most recent favorite reads or just listen to what others recommend. Pick up new pre-publication books when available. Hear about upcoming books being released and be the first to reserve them at the library. Get the inside scoop on upcoming author visits. Registration suggested especially during winter months but not required. Additional dates: March 19, Apr. 16, May 21 and June 18.

For independent listeners ages 4-6 years-old. This is a story time that provides children with experiences that enrich early literacy. Children will hear stories, watch short films, sing songs, and do a craft. This program repeats for 8 sessions.
Pig Out on Reading
Tuesday, Feb. 19, 3 – 4 p.m.
Farmer Minor and Daisy return for a fun-filled reading extravaganza! Children ages 4 and up and their caregivers are invited to join Daisy and Farmer Minor for this interactive story program. Children will have the opportunity to learn about pigs and even give Daisy a hug. Daisy might even bring a special guest! Don’t forget to bring your cameras. Registration required. Sponsored by the Coyle Family Young Readers Fund.
Make Your Own Cigar Box Purse for Teens
Tuesday, Feb. 19, 3 – 5 p.m. CANCELLED
Create a one-of-a-kind purse using cigar boxes, fabric, beads, buttons, and other materials for creating handles, closures and embellishing. For teens in grades 6-12. Registration required. Sponsored by the John and Patricia Curran Teen Fund.
