College admissions is more competitive than ever.  How do you find the right college for a top education and experience? What strategies will help you showcase your character and achievements and stand out?  College admissions consultant Beth Manners will detail the process, from putting your college list together to writing your essays. Come join us for a fun and relaxing morning. We'll supply the canvas, paints, brushes and a collection of masterpieces to copy and inspire you. No art experience required. Just a desire to pick up a brush, have fun and let your inner self out! A $5 fee will be collected upon arrival to cover the cost of materials.

Kids in grade K – 3 are invited to this Earth-friendly class in celebration of Earth Day. Victoria McCarthy, an arborist from SavATree, will talk about the four parts of a plant, and the kids will have a chance to plant beans. Victoria will bring sprouted beans for the children to observe the process of a little seed having all the information in it for life. There also will be time for talking about any plant or tree that the kids are interested in. Sponsored by SavATree. Registration required. Register online or call 203-762-6336.

Our largest sale features  more than 70,000 items sorted in more than 50 categories – mysteries, gardening, travel, and science fiction; gently used,  collectible, rare books, DVDs, CDs, books on CD.

Early Buyers with $15 admission on Saturday, April 21 from 7 to 9 am. Sale is free to public from 9 am to 5 pm on Saturday, Sunday, April 22 from noon to 5 pm, Monday April 23 from 10 am to 5 pm books half-price, and Tuesday April 24, 10 am to 5 pm ($5 bag day).

Do you have stacks of old slides and looking for a way to scan them into digital format? If so, come learn how to use our new high-resolution slide scanner. It can scan up to 50 slides in one batch.

For 7th graders to adults and 6th graders accompanied by adults who are willing to learn too. Must have a valid CT Library card and signed Innovation Station Agreement Form.   Please bring the completed form to the session. Space limited to 2 per session. Registration required.

Children's Library Assistant Position Available

Wilton Library is seeking an energetic, creative individual to assist with collections, perform service desk duties, create and assist with programs and story times for ages birth–12 years, and perform other duties as requested under the direction of the Children’s Library Manager.

Book Sale Update

Our annual Gigantic Book Sale gets underway on Saturday, April 21 through Tuesday, April 24.  Our tireless volunteers are working feverishly to prepare for the sale therefore we will not be accepting book donations again until Monday, May 7.  Thank you for your patience and understanding. See you at the sale!
