Do you have a box of old home videos? Wish you could still watch some of those funny or touching family moments? If so, come learn how to convert them to DVDs. For 7th graders through adults and 6th grade students accompanied by adults who are willing to learn too! Must have a valid CT Library card and signed Innovation Station Agreement form. Please bring the completed form to the workshop. Space limited to 1 student per session. Registration required. This is for home videos only and conversion time is one-to-one.

Children ages 4 and 5 are invited to join us for this drop-in story time. Each week we will explore different topics such as woodland creatures, transportation, dinosaurs, fairy tales, and more. Children will hear stories, watch short book films, as well as participate in fun activities and crafts. Ages 4 and 5 with caregivers in the building. No session May 29. No registration, no fee. Children ages 2 and 3 years old and their caregivers will sing songs, listen to stories, and enjoy playtime together while building literacy and social skills. This is a 9-week program. No registration, no fee.

Children in grades K and up can drop in to play in the 'STEM sandbox'. Various Children's Library STEM stations will be available for kids to explore. Some stations will include Dash and Dot robots, Code-a-pillars, stop-motion animation apps, gears, and more. Each week will have different stations. Caregivers must remain in the building for children under the age of 12. Adult participation is encouraged. Supported by the Amadeo Family. 

Let us introduce you to our die cutter, the Cricut, and get you started on making your own gift tags, birthday, anniversary or thank you cards and more.  For 7th graders to adults and 6th graders accompanied by adults willing to learn too.  Must have a valid CT Library card and signed Innovation Station Agreement Form.   Please bring the completed form to the session.
