ESL (English as a Second Language)
Monday, January 28 through Wednesday, April 24, 9:30 – 11:30 a.m. Cancelled
Twice-weekly classes in English as a Second Language will begin on Monday, January 28th and will continue on Mondays and Wednesdays until April 24th at the Wilton Library given by Westport Continuing Education. (There will be no classes on Feb. 18th, Feb. 20th, April 15th and April 17th.) Testing and registration required. Testing takes place at Wilton Library from 9:30 – 11 a.m. on Jan. 16.

Books for Babies
Wednesday, March 20 through Wednesday, May 22, 10:15 – 10:45 a.m.
Bring your wonderful baby to this infant friendly program at the Wilton Library. We will sing and play and enjoy gentle stories geared for babies under 12 months old. This is an excellent forum to meet other new parents in the area. This program runs for ten weeks. Caregivers must be present.

Wonderful Ones and Twos
Wednesday, March 20 through Wednesday, May 22 , 11 – 11:30 a.m.
This program is a sharing time for 1 and 2-year-olds and their caregivers. The emphasis is on books, with some songs and toy time.

Wilton Library Readers
Wednesday, April 10, Noon – 1:30 p.m.
Professional book discussion leader Susan Boyar discusses The Last Report on the Miracles at Little No Horse by Louise Erdrich. Group meets second Wednesday of each month. Ambler Farm Reads
Wednesday, April 10, 2:15 – 3 p.m.
Children ages 4-6 and their caregivers will meet at Ambler Farm to enjoy theme-based stories as well as a nature walk. Children may check books out at the farm, so make sure to bring your library card! During the month of April the focus will be on sheep. Registration required. Children must be accompanied by a caregiver. Additional dates and focus: May 8—chickens; June 12—bees.


Simple Steps for Starting Your Business with SCORE
Wednesday, March 20 & 27, April 3, 10 & 17, 5:30 – 8:30 p.m.
People thinking of starting their own businesses or having trouble getting them of the ground have a 5-part series developed by SCORE – “Simple Steps for Starting Your Business” is designed to avoid start-up pitfalls and puts businesses on the road to success. The first session on March 20 provides an opportunity to discover what starting a business is all about – the challenges, requirements, choices. The follow-on sessions cover the planning tools necessary to build a successful business. March 20—Self Assessment; March 27—Developing Your Business Plan;April 3—Marketing Planning; Wednesday, April 10—Financial Planning; April 17—Funding & Next Steps. No charge.
