Welcome to Wilton Library
Try out some fun, simple STEM projects. On two Wednesdays in July (7/8 & 7/29) and two in August (8/5 & 8/12) we'll be working with LEDs, motors, soldering equipment and more. Sign up for one or all sessions. For students entering grades 7-12. Registration required. Must have a signed Innovation Station Agreement Form. Sponsored by the Amadeo Family Fund.
Special for the Wilton Library! Meet some of the scientists who studied electricity and hear their (often very strange) stories -- Thomas Edison, Nikola Tesla, Ben Franklin and Alessandro Volta. You'll see shocking demonstrations of how electricity is created, stored and used, from glowing lights to a 4-cylinder engine! Supported by the Amadeo Family. Grades 1 and up. Registration required; no charge.
Part of “Everything STEMs from Reading” summer reading program for children.
Wilton Library will show Dora the Explorer: Dora Saves Fairytale Land. 45 minutes. No registration required; no fee. Caregivers must stay with children under 8, and remain in the building for children 8-12.

He is currently an Adjunct Professor of English at Fairfield University. Poetry packets available at front desk one week before seminar begins. No charge for program. Advance registration required.
Planning a family reunion or anniversary party? Gather up your old photos, slides and negatives and we'll show you how to turn them into digitized images. Then email or take those images home with you on a thumb-drive to create event mementos. For ages 13 and up, and 6th and 7th graders with adults. Must have a valid CT Library card and signed Innovation Station Agreement form. Please bring the completed form to the workshop. Space limited to 3 students per session. Registration required.
