Children ages 2 and 3 years old and their caregivers will sing songs, listen to stories, and enjoy playtime together while building literacy and social skills. Program runs for 10 weeks. No registration, no fee.
Post-treatment breast cancer survivors are invited to join in this monthly support group led by Nina Marino, LCSW. The AARP Driver Safety Program is the nation's first and largest classroom driver safety course designed especially for drivers age 50 and older. This single session, four hour course covers the normal changes in vision, hearing and reaction time associated with ageing and provides practical techniques on how to adjust to these changes, along with learning to operate vehicles more safely in today's increasingly challenging driving environment. There are no written or driving tests - classroom only. NY residents: please contact your insurance carrier to confirm they will accept a Connecticut State class certificate. Registration required. Sign up to learn how to etch a glass plate, vase or votives using the die cutter and some simple supplies.$3 per plate or vase and $5 for two votives with tea lights, payable upon arrival. Registration required, but drop-ins welcome if space available. For 7th graders - adult and 6th grade students accompanied by an adult willing to learn too!
