Join Wilton Library for 2 and 3-year-old story time. Children and their caregivers will sing songs, listen to stories, and enjoy playtime together while building literacy and social skills. This program runs for ten weeks.
Look, Listen and Learn
Tuesday, March 19 through Tuesday, May 21, 11 – 11:30 a.m.
For 3 and 4-year-olds with a caregiver. By interacting with stories, singing songs and acting out finger plays and rhymes, children in this program gain pre-reading skills and learn how to participate in a group setting. This program runs for ten weeks.

Looking for something good to read next? Bring a friend and join the Book Buzz conversation moderated by Lauren McLaughlin and Melissa Baker, two of Wilton Library’s knowledgeable librarians, on the third Tuesday of each month. Participants are encouraged to come and chat about their most recent favorite reads or just listen to what others recommend. Pick up new pre-publication books when available. Hear about upcoming books being released and be the first to reserve them at the library. Get the inside scoop on upcoming author visits. Registration suggested. Next month: June 18.
WGG/WLA Green Speaker Series: Adventurer of the Year Gregg Treinish with Daryl Hawk

In April 2008, Gregg Treinish became one of the first two people to trek the length of the Andes Mountains, south of the equator, a journey that lasted nearly two years and 7,800 miles. Following the spine of the longest mountain chain in the world, he and Deia Schlosberg created a new route, oftentimes off-trail and even off-map. He sees a tremendous value in sharing the lessons learned from a people who have been living harmoniously with the land for generations. Through intimate journal entries, stunning video, and captivating slides, Gregg will bring the Wilton Library attendees along for the journey. Gregg will be interviewed by international documentary photographer and former television producer/host Daryl Hawk.
