Red Cross Babysitting Training

Tuesday, June 25 and Wednesday, June 26, 10 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
2-day workshop conducted by the Red Cross for students ages 11-15. Upon completion of the course, all students will receive a babysitting certification. Cost of $90.00 due before class. To register, call Susan L. at 203-762-3950 x243. (Registration cannot be done online.) Once placed on the list, the patron must send a $90.00 check made out to the Wilton Library to Susan in order to hold the spot. Maximum of 12 per class. Students should bring drinks &/or snacks to the class.

Wilton Library Summer Reading Program Registration Week

Friday, June 21 through June 28, 10 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Come to Wilton Library and sign up for Summer Reading during regular library hours. The Summer Reading Program is now online. Patrons can use our new summer reader program, Evanced, to register and log their summer reading. Prize coupons can be printed and brought to the library for redemption. This program offers our patrons flexibility for the summer reading program. We hope that by making the program more convenient we will see more participation and enthusiasm for reading. Some highlights of an online program are: flexibility by being able to log-on whenever and wherever throughout the summer; convenience of keeping track of reading online and ability to print lists easily (teachers love to see what the kids read over the summer); attractive graphics are engaging and help encourage participation; on-demand access allows vacationing patrons to participate, too. The online program can be accessed from internet-capable computers, laptops, iPads and more.
