Planning a family reunion or anniversary party? Gather up your old photos, slides and negatives and we'll show you how to turn them into digitized images. Then email or take those images home with you on a thumb-drive to create event mementos. For ages 13 and up, and 6th and 7th graders with adults.   Must have a valid CT Library card and signed Innovation Station Agreement form.  Please bring the completed form to the workshop. Space limited to 2 students per session.  Registration required. 

Do you feel that you are the only person who is not on Facebook? Do you want to explore it before committing to an account? Are you unsure of the computer skills needed to navigate the Facebook and social media world? If you are a baby boomer, senior, or someone who just hasn't had time to devote to the exploration of social media until now, this class is for you. Mary Anne Franco will show you what Facebook is about, how to post photos, find 'friends' and talk about privacy settings. Demonstration-style class. Registration encouraged.

Learn Tinkercad and then design your own 3D bookmark, coaster, luggage tag or coin holder.  Add your initials or a symbol to make it unique.  Afterwards, schedule a one-on-one 3D session to print your creation. For ages 13-113. Must have a valid CT library card and signed Innovation Station Agreement form. Please bring the complete form to the workshop.  Space limited to 8 students. Registration required

Do you have a box of old home videos? Wish you could still watch some of those funny or touching family moments? If so, come learn how to convert them to DVDs. For ages 13-113 and students entering 6th & 7th grades with an adult. Must have a valid CT Library card and signed Innovation Station Agreement form. Please bring the completed form to the workshop. Space limited to 1 student per session. Registration required. This is for home videos only and conversion time is one-to-one.

Wilton Library is teaming up with Stamford Hospital's Mobile Wellness Program to help bring wellness to you where you live, work, play and learn. The coach will be in the front parking lot of Wilton Library. Services offered: Screening Mammography-- Women 35-39 years old - schedule your baseline mammogram; Women 40+ years old - schedule your annual mammogram. News:

Wilton Library welcomes #1 international bestselling author Karin Slaughter on Tuesday, Sept. 29 which is the release date of her latest novel, Pretty Girls. She will be speaking, have a Q&A session and sign books during the program that begins at 7:30 p.m.   Pretty Girls is a standalone psychological thriller in which estranged sisters must come together to search through the details of two harrowing tragedies that devastated their bond. The purchase of the book is the entry into the event.  The price is $30 and includes two seats at the event and one hardcover copy of Pretty Girls. A portion of the book sales will benefit Wilton Library. The author is well known for her Will Trent and Grant County Series and the New York Times bestseller, Cop Town.  She has more than 35 million copies of her books in print around the world.
