Our largest sale features  more than 70,000 items sorted in more than 50 categories – mysteries, gardening, travel, and science fiction; gently used,  collectible, rare books, DVDs, CDs, books on CD.

Sale is free to public from noon to 5 pm Sunday, April 22, Monday April 23 from 10 am to 5 pm books half-price, and Tuesday April 24, 10 am to 5 pm ($5 bag day).

If you're a girl in grades 6-12 and want to learn to create mobile apps, games or websites, join Girls Who Code. No experience necessary – just enthusiasm and willingness to try new things! We're part of a national club that offers project-based activities in a fun and creative environment. This is an on-going program where each week builds on skills learned in previous weeks.

We'll meet twice a month on Sundays from October 1, 2017 - June 3, 2018. Sessions are from 1 - 3 p.m. on these dates: October 1 & 15, November 5 & 19, December 3 & 17, January 7 & 21, February 4 & 11, March 4 & 18, April 15 & 22, May 6 & 13 and June 3.  Registration required. Learn how to make an Earth Day terrarium. We will fill a glass vase with layers of rocks, sand and soil and plant a couple of succulents to make a mini garden that can be used as a beautiful centerpiece or conversation starter in honor of Earth Day (April 22, 2018). No gardening experience required. Just a desire to beautify the earth and keep it green and have fun! For ages 18+ with a valid CT Library Card. Space limited. Registration required. A $15 fee will be collected upon arrival to cover the cost of materials. Register online or call 203-762-6342.

Learn how to use the Cricut, our die cutter and monogram an acrylic note cube for your desk. Makes a great gift! $12 for the note cube, payable upon arrival.

For 7th graders to adults and 6th graders accompanied by adults who are willing to learn too. Must have a valid CT library card and signed Innovation Station Agreement Form. Please bring the completed form to the workshop. Registration required. Register online or call 203-762-6342.

Children's Library Assistant Position Available

Wilton Library is seeking an energetic, creative individual to assist with collections, perform service desk duties, create and assist with programs and story times for ages birth–12 years, and perform other duties as requested under the direction of the Children’s Library Manager.

Book Sale Update

Our annual Gigantic Book Sale gets underway on Saturday, April 21 through Tuesday, April 24.  Our tireless volunteers are working feverishly to prepare for the sale therefore we will not be accepting book donations again until Monday, May 7.  Thank you for your patience and understanding.
