Events:

If you're a girl in grades 6 - 12 and want to learn to create mobile apps, games and websites, join Girls Who Code. No experience necessary -- just enthusiasm and willingness to try new things! We're part of a national club that offers project-based activities in a fun and creative environment. This is an ongoing program where each week builds on skills learned in previous weeks.

We'll meet for twice a month on Sundays from September 15, 2016 to June 4, 2017 as follows: September 25; October 2 & 23; November 6 & 20; December 4 & 18; January 8 & 22; February 5 & 12, March 5 & 19; April 2 & 23; May 7 & 21; June 4.

Registration required. Supported by Girls Who Code.

Planning a family reunion or anniversary party? Gather up your old photos, slides and negatives and we'll show you how to turn them into digitized images. Then email or take those images home with you on a thumb-drive to create event mementos. For 7th graders through adults and 6th grade students accompanied by adults who are willing to learn too!    Must have a valid CT Library card and signed Innovation Station Agreement form.  Please bring the completed form to the workshop. Space limited to 2 students per session.  Registration required.

Daniel Phillips will be joined by noted instrumentalists in a program of string quintets and other works by Dvorák, Mendelssohn, and Mozart. The New York Times said Mr. Phillips ‘seems to have a complete, and completely natural, command of his instrument.’ All performances are on Sunday afternoons at the Wilton Congregational Church located at 70 Ridgefield Road, Wilton. A portion of the proceeds benefits Wilton Library. For ticket information call (203) 762-3401 or www.wiltoncandlelightconcerts.org.

Let us introduce you to our die cutter, the Cricut, and get you started on making your own gift tags, birthday, anniversary or thank you cards and more. For 7th graders through adults and 6th grade students accompanied by adults who are willing to learn too. Must have a valid CT Library card and signed Innovation Station Agreement Form.   Please bring the completed form to the session. Space limited to 2 per session. Registration required.
