In this one-on-one session, let us introduce you to our electronic embroidery machine and monogram a tea towel, apron, baby bib or burp cloth. Aprons available for $7. All other items are $5.  For 7th graders to adults and 6th graders accompanied by adults willing to learn too.   Must have a valid CT library card and signed Innovation Station Agreement Form. Weekly drop-in for knitters and crocheters. Make new friends, get tips and share ideas while working on your own projects. New to stitching but want to give it a try? We have needles and yarn for you to test out. No registration required.

March brings Cristina Bonilla to the Weir Farm Artist-in-Residence program. Bonilla “draws inspiration from the observation of Nature – to understand the colors, forces, movements and spatial tensions that characterize a particular place.” At Weir Farm she will work on a series entitled “Stones Are the Roots of Clouds” that explores the constantly shifting relationship between land and sky—“a meditation upon the finite place we inhabit and its connection to the boundless sky.” Co-sponsored by Weir Farm Art Center and Weir Farm National Historic Site and presented by Wilton Library.  Bach to Rock brings a high energy Rock ‘n’ Roll program for toddlers to Wilton Library. This class contains a variety of music and movement based activities. Experience the developmental benefits of music in a fun setting that children, moms, dads and caretakers will all enjoy. Registration required, for ages 6 months to 3. Bach to Rock brings Rock City for Preschoolers to the Wilton Library. This program helps budding young musicians play simple rhythms. The class focuses on musical concepts such as fast and slow, sound and silence, high and low, singing and exposure to live instruments. Registration required, for ages 4 to 5.
