Kids ages 8 and up are invited to join Wilton Library’s Minecraft Computer Club. A server for Fairfield County has been set up with a virtual world where the Minecraft community in Wilton can meet. Minecraft enthusiasts are welcome to join the Minecraft Computer Club to discuss and play everything Minecraft at Wilton Library. Please note: Minecraft is a subscription-based, online game. Players must bring their own laptop and create their own account. To be added to the Fairfield County server you must visit the Children’s Desk with a valid library card to be registered. Registration required.
Destroying Your Hard Drive

Are you looking to get rid of your old computer, but worried about all the personal information stored on it? Let Wilton Library’s Robotics team take care of it! This is a team fundraiser. $20 per computer. They’ll destroy your hard drive while you wait.
Tales to Tails

ROAR’s (Ridgefield Operation Animal Rescue) Therapy Dog Program will be bringing therapy dogs to the library for children to read to them. The use of trained therapy dogs in reading programs can result in children who feel comfortable reading out loud, read more often, attempt more difficult books, and actually look forward to reading. Children must read independently to participate in this program. Registration is required.
