Bring your wonderful baby to this infant friendly program at the Wilton Library! We will sing and play and enjoy gentle stories geared for babies under 12 months old. This is an excellent forum to meet other new parents in the area. Bring dad too! Caregivers must be present. No registration required. 

Learn computer programming with Gidget, a unique learning game which teaches computer programming concepts and logic to new programmers by debugging broken code. Over the course of the week, you'll learn about arrays, branching statements, loops, objects and more concepts to get you programming! This is a five-day workshop (8/13-8/17) for students entering grades 7-12 with Algebra experience. Must be able to attend all five sessions.  Limited space and registration required. This program is a sharing time for 1 and 2-year-olds and their caregivers. The emphasis is on books, with some songs and toy time. No registration, no program charge. 

Back again by popular demand for our fourth year! Professional book discussion leader Susan Boyar will discuss 6 short stories published in The New Yorker magazine over 6 consecutive weeks.  This week's story is Cat Person, by Kristen Roupenian. The current issue of The New Yorker is available in the Reading Room for in-library use, or download it through RBDigital.

Bring lunch; beverages will be provided. The meetings will be held on: July 11, July 18, July 25, August 1, August 8, & August 15.  Advance registration suggested.

Then we’ll harness the power of these forces together to create astonishing jet packs and even a rocket-propelled car!
