Children ages 0-5 and their caregivers are invited to join a fun time of moving, grooving, jumping, shaking, singing and playing instruments. A great morning work-out! No registration required.
Kids ages 8 and up are invited to join Wilton Library’s Minecraft Computer Club. A server for Fairfield County has been set up with a virtual world where the Minecraft community in Wilton can meet and the club welcomes the enthusiasts. Please note: Minecraft is a subscription-based, online game. Players must bring their own laptop and create their own accounts. Handheld devices are not recommended because they run a Minecraft app that does not work with the same server. To be added to the Fairfield County server you must visit the Children's Desk with a valid library card to be registered. Caretakers must sign in their child with staff member. If the child is not present and signed in by 10:10, the place may be given to a waitlisted child. Caretakers must remain in the building for children under 12 years. Registration required.
Do you have a box of old home videos? Wish you could still watch some of those funny or touching family moments? If so, come learn how to convert them to DVDs. For 7th graders through adults and 6th grade students accompanied by adults who are willing to learn too! Must have a valid CT Library card and signed Innovation Station Agreement form. Please bring the completed form to the workshop. Space limited to 1 student per session. Registration required. This is for home videos only and conversion time is one-to-one.
Save the date for a special celebration! Experience the wonder……Wilton Library will hold its annual spring benefit at Silver Spring Country Club. Guests of the benefit will enjoy a festive evening with a very special theme of Alice in Wonderland to set the tone. There will be great food in a beautiful environment, a unique silent auction, a fabulous live auction, entertainment and much more.
We are especially pleased to be honoring this year a wonderful Wilton business, the Village Market, which has supported the library in countless ways over many years. It is our pleasure to be able to recognize Peter Keating, Nancy Dolnier, Tim Dolnier and Mike Picheco for all they have done in supporting the library.
Keep watch for more details for this very special event! For questions or information call Robin Axness, Director of Development at 203-762-6323.
