ESL (English as a Second Language)

Wednesday, Jan. 29 through Wednesday, April 28, 9:30 – 11 a.m.
Twice-weekly classes in English as a Second Language will begin on Wednesday, Jan. 29 and will continue on Mondays and Wednesdays until April 28 at Wilton Library given by Westport Continuing Education. (There will be no class the weeks of Feb. 17-21 and April 14-18) Testing and registration required.

Books for Babies

Wednesday, Jan. 8 through Wednesday, March 19, 10:15 – 10:45 a.m.
Bring your wonderful baby to this infant friendly program at the Wilton Library. We will sing and play and enjoy gentle stories geared for babies under 12 months old.  This is an excellent forum to meet other new parents in the area.    Caregivers must be present.  The program runs for 11 weeks.

Grab Bag Book Club

Wednesday, March 19, 4 – 4:45 p.m.
Come and discuss a brand new best selling children’s book! The book for The book for March will be From Texas With Love by Dan Gutman. In this follow up to his series The Genius Files, twins Pepsi and Coke take a long strange trip through some of the weirdest places in America. Fans of Dan Gutman’s rowdy humor will enjoy the discussion. Healthy snacks will be provided as well as a book-related activity.  Registration required.  Grades 3 and up.  Parents and guardians must be in the building. Calling All Cupcake Connoisseurs

Wednesday, March 19, 4 – 5 p.m.
Are you Crazy for Cupcakes? Are you Fond of Frosting? If so, come to Wilton Library, where staff member Shayna Simpson will help you get on board with the Current Craze for Cupcakes! You will be able to create a ducky cupcake and an alien and more! And even better, you get to take them home! Sponsored by the Coyle Family Young Readers Fund. Grades 2 and up.  Registration required.
