Drop by the Teen Room April 10 – 30 and cast a ballot for your favorite 2014 Nutmeg Book. There will be a drawing for a gift certificate at the end of the voting period.

ESL (English as a Second Language)

Wednesday, Jan. 29 through Wednesday, April 28, 9:30 – 11 a.m.
Twice-weekly classes in English as a Second Language will begin on Wednesday, Jan. 29 and will continue on Mondays and Wednesdays until April 28 at Wilton Library given by Westport Continuing Education. (There will be no class the weeks of Feb. 17-21 and April 14-18) Testing and registration required.

Whodunit? Book Club

Monday, April 21, 4 – 4:45 p.m.
Children in grades 2 and 3 will meet and discuss mystery books as a group. The book for April is Tuesday by David Wiesner, a Caldecott Medal award winner.  Snacks will be provided with fun detective activities.   Parents and guardians must remain in the Library.  Sponsored by the Steve and Alison Sherman Family Fund.

Weir Farm Artist-in-Residence Exhibition/Reception: Layla Luna

Monday, April 21, 6 – 7:30 p.m.
April brings Layla Luna to the Weir Farm Artist-in-Residence program. Ms. Luna makes drawings and paintings that explore our relationship with nature. While at Weir Farm, she will continue to work on her current project, The Specimen Experiment, which addresses habitat conservation and the direct impact we have on nature. Co-sponsored by Weir Farm Art Center and Weir Farm National Historic Site and presented by Wilton Library. Registration suggested.
