StorytimeTerrific Tales for Twos and Threes

Tuesday, April 8 through Tuesday, June 10, 10:15 – 10:45 a.m.
Join Wilton Library for 2 and 3-year old story time.  Children and their caregivers will sing songs, listen to stories, and enjoy playtime together while building literacy and social skills. No story time during the week of April 14.

Senior Center Book Discussion: Stoner

Tuesday, April 22, 11 a.m. – noon.
Miwako Ogasawara  will lead a discussion of Stoner by John Williams The New York Times Book Review describes this novel as “something rarer than a great novel–it is a perfect novel, so well told and beautifully written, so deeply moving, that it takes your breath away.” Group meets 4th Tuesday of each month through May. StorytimeLook, Listen and Learn

Tuesday, April 8 through Tuesday, June 10, 11 – 11:30 a.m.
For 3 and 4 year-olds with caregivers. By interacting with stories, singing songs and acting out finger plays and rhymes, children in this program gain pre-reading skills and learn how to participate in a group setting. No story time during the week of April 14.

Literary Littles

Tuesday, April 8 through Tuesday, June 10, 2:15 – 3:00 p.m.
For independent listeners ages 4 – 6 years. This is a story time that provides children with experiences that enrich early literacy. Children will hear stories, watch short films, sing songs, and do a craft. No story time during the week of April 14.

Teen Advisory Board Meeting

Tuesday, April 22, 3:30 – 5 p.m.
Teens in grades 6-12 are invited to join a monthly Teen Advisory Board (TAB) meeting.  TAB is a group of teens who  work with the library by helping select materials for the teen collection, planning teen events, and more. Input from the board helps to create a better library for all teens.  Newcomers always welcome! Newcomers can fill out an application and bring it to the meeting or fill them out there.  Registration is recommended.
