Join Wilton Library for 2 and 3-year old story time. Children and their caregivers will sing songs, listen to stories, and enjoy playtime together while building literacy and social skills. No story time during the week of April 14.

For 3 and 4 year-olds with caregivers. By interacting with stories, singing songs and acting out finger plays and rhymes, children in this program gain pre-reading skills and learn how to participate in a group setting. No story time during the week of April 14.
Senior Center Book Discussion: First Lady of the Confederacy – Varina Davis’s Civil War
Tuesday, May 27, 11 a.m. – noon.
Barbara Jones will lead a discussion of First Lady of the Confederacy – Varina Davis’s Civil War by Joan Cashin. As the wife of Jefferson Davis, Varina Davis was referred to as “First Lady” of the Confederacy. However, her loyalties were conflicted and she was criticized in print for her doubts about the Confederacy’s ability to win the war. She was a complex woman, highly educated, considered by her peers as one of the great conversationalists of her time. Comstock Community Center, 180 School Road, Wilton.
Weir Farm Artist-in-Residence Exhibition/Reception: Lilian Cooper
Tuesday, May 27, 6 – 7:30 p.m.
May also brings Lilian Cooper to the Weir Farm Artist-in-Residence program. The artist will be creating a new series of drawings focusing on the woodland of Weir Farm. Her current Tree project—The Xylotheque Unpacked, involves the microscopic study of plant disease which carries through to her artwork. See the registration link for more details about the artist.
