Books for Babies

Bring your wonderful baby to this infant friendly program at the Wilton Library. We will sing and play and enjoy gentle stories geared for babies under 12 months old. This is an excellent forum to meet other new parents in the area. No story time during the week of April 14. Caregivers must be present.
Wonderful Ones and Twos

This program is a sharing time for 1 and 2 year-olds and their caregivers. The emphasis is on books, with some songs and toy time. No story time during the week of April 14.

Professional book discussion leader Susan Boyar discusses Motherless Brooklyn by Jonathan Lethem. Group meets second Wednesday of each month. Bring lunch; beverages will be provided. Ambler Farm Reads
Wednesday, June 11, 2:15 – 3 p.m.
Children ages 4 – 6 and their caregivers will meet at Ambler Farm to enjoy theme-based stories as well as a nature walk. Children may check books out at the farm, so make sure to bring your library card. June’s gathering focuses on chickens Registration required; no fee. Children must be accompanied by a caregiver.
Wednesday, June 4, 11, 18 & 25, 4 – 5 p.m.
Kids in grades K and up are invited to join this weekly Lego® Club. Each session will be based on a new theme such as castles, vehicles, towers and more. Children will learn about the theme through stories and non-fiction books and then create a Lego® masterpiece from the library’s Lego® collection. There are 20 spots available for this program on a first come, first served basis each week. Tickets will be passed out at the Children’s reference desk starting at 3:45 p.m. the day of the program.
