Teen Summer Reading

Friday, June 20 through Friday, August 15th
The Teen Summer Reading Program is underway now, and ends on Friday August 15th.  Weekly, teens entering grades 6-12 can access EVANCED, the online program to record the number of pages read.  There will be a weekly drawing for $10 gift certificates. The end-of-summer grand prize will be a $100 AmEx Gift Card.  For more details, stop by Teen Services or call 203-762-3950, ext. 243.

Free Fiction, Films, and Fugues To Go from Wilton Library

Wednesday, June 25 , 1 – 2:30 p.m.  
BYOD – Bring your own device and follow along as Melissa Baker demonstrates our free downloadables and streaming media. You will learn about our downloadable eBooks (OverDrive), downloadable eMagazines (Zinio), streaming movies (IndieFlix), and streaming jazz and classical music (Naxos Music Library), all available 24/7 from Wilton Library. There is something for everyone and hours of enjoyment for patrons with Wilton Library cards. Presented by Wilton Library for seniors at the Senior Center, Comstock Community Center, 180 School Road, Wilton. Sessions will be offered the fourth Wednesday of the month through October. Registration suggested. Call the Senior Center at 203-834-6240 to register.

Lego® Club

Wednesday, June 4, 11, 18 & 25, 4 – 5 p.m.
Kids in grades K and up are invited to join this weekly Lego® Club.  Each session will be based on a new theme such as castles, vehicles, towers and more.  Children will learn about the theme through stories and non-fiction books and then create a Lego® masterpiece from the library’s Lego® collection.  There are 20 spots available for this program on a first come, first served basis each week.  Tickets will be passed out at the Children’s reference desk starting at 3:45 p.m. the day of the program.  Sponsored by the Coyle Family Young Readers Fund.
