The Teen Summer Reading Program is underway now, and ends on Friday August 15th. Weekly, teens entering grades 6-12 can access EVANCED, the online program to record the number of pages read. There will be a weekly drawing for $10 gift certificates. The end-of-summer grand prize will be a $100 AmEx Gift Card. For more details, stop by Teen Services or call 203-762-3950, ext. 243.

Adult Summer Reading Program – Literary Elements
Monday, July 7 through Sunday, Aug. 17, 10 a.m. – 8 p.m.
Be a part of Wilton Library’s first-ever adult summer reading program. Online registration begins Monday, July 7; the program ends Sunday, August 17. List each book you read this summer (from July 1 – August 17) by writing a brief review, and be automatically entered into a weekly drawing for a Wilton Chamber of Commerce gift certificate. Summer Poetry with Judson Scruton

Judson Scruton leads this 4-part Summer Poetry Series exploring Pulitzer Prize and National Book Award winning poet Mary Oliver on July 10, 17, 24 and 31. Judson Scruton, M.A (The Johns Hopkins University, The Writing Seminars, specializing in poetry), has taught creative writing and literature at prep schools and universities. He is currently an Adjunct Professor of English at Fairfield University. See library registration link for more details. Poetry packet available at front desk one week before seminar begins. Advanced Tinkering Workshop for Teens
Tuesday, July 29, 31, Aug. 5 & 7, 3 – 5 p.m.
For all those who took the first Arduino workshop in January or July, here’s your chance to continue tinkering and really get things lit up and blinking! $25 per student for all four sessions (7/29, 7/31, 8/5 & 8/7) to cover the cost of sensors and motors. Must have taken one of the previous workshops. You’ll need to bring your Arduino. Additional funding provided by the John and Patricia Curran Teen Fund. For teens entering grades 6 – 12. Summer Music & More Concert Series: Echoes of Sinatra with Steve Kazlauskas
Thursday, July 31, 5 – 6:30 p.m.
Steve Kazlauskas returns with his Echoes of Sinatra program featuring the Great American Songbook style for the final performance of summer concerts at Wilton Library.
