Teen Summer Reading

Friday, June 20 through Friday, August 15th
The Teen Summer Reading Program is underway now, and ends on Friday August 15th.  Weekly, teens entering grades 6-12 can access EVANCED, the online program to record the number of pages read.  There will be a weekly drawing for $10 gift certificates. The end-of-summer grand prize will be a $100 AmEx Gift Card.  For more details, stop by Teen Services or call 203-762-3950, ext. 243.

Adult Summer Reading Program – Literary Elements

Monday, July 7 through Sunday, Aug. 17, 10 a.m. – 8 p.m.
Be a part of Wilton Library’s first-ever adult summer reading program. Online registration begins Monday, July 7; the program ends Sunday, August 17. List each book you read this summer (from July 1 – August 17) by writing a brief review, and be automatically entered into a weekly drawing for a Wilton Chamber of Commerce gift certificate. Perfect Pre-K Programs—Robert the Guitar Guy

Friday, Aug. 8, 11 – 11:30 a.m.
Children ages Pre-K and their caregivers are invited to a fun performance by Robert the Guitar Guy.  Robert uses music, props, movement, and dance to entertain children and their grown-ups.  Registration recommended; no fee. Parent and each child must be registered separately. Sponsored by the Coyle Family Young Readers Fund.

Children’s Movie – Hercules

Friday, Aug. 8, 2 – 3:30 p.m.
Hercules (rated G) will be shown on Friday this week due to Camp-Half Blood on Thursday. Snacks will be served. Children under 8 must be accompanied by caregivers; children under 12 must have caregivers in the building. No charge and no registration needed.  Sponsored by the Coyle Family Young Readers Fund.
