Author Talk: Nelson DeMille—The Quest

Tuesday, Oct. 8, 7 – 8:30 p.m.
Number 1 New York Times bestselling author, Nelson DeMille, comes to Wilton Library to discuss The Quest, a suspenseful, romantic heart-pounding adventure.  The book was originally released in 1975; DeMille has now entirely rewritten it and greatly expanded the work with new characters and a new ending.  The tale begins with a dying priest, a secret about the Holy Grail and a quest for the 2,000 year old legend. Nelson DeMille is the author of seventeen acclaimed novels, including the #1 New York Times bestsellers Night Fall, Plum Island, The Gate House and most recently, The Panther, and New York Times bestsellers Wild Fire, The Gold Coast, and The General’s Daughter. We are pleased to acknowledge Wilton’s James B. Whipple American Legion Post 86 as part of this special event.  Mr. DeMille is a Paid-Up-for-Life member of The American Legion having served in Vietnam as a U.S. Army first lieutenant.  Q&A following the talk. Books will be available for purchase and signing courtesy of Elm Street Books. Registration required.

The library will be closing at 5 p.m. in preparation for this popular author.
