Dear Friend of Wilton Library,
The Library will hold its annual spring benefit, Beyond Words: A Venetian Masquerade, on Friday, April 5, 2013. Our 250 guests will enjoy a full and festive evening in the transformed Library space, featuring great food prepared by Luca Wine Bar & Italian Seafood, a unique silent auction, first-class live auction, and more.
Wilton Library is the heart of our community — supporting the changing ways we seek to entertain, learn, and access information. Far more than just books, the Library experience includes:
- a broad range of cultural activities,
- innovative technology,
- a high quality and wide scope of services, recently including comfort, safe shelter, and recharging after recent storms
- a super staff, highly engaged Board of Trustees, and tireless volunteers, and
- you, who – along with other Friends of the Library – continually show your support with your time, talent, dedication, and resources.
Wilton Library is the center for discovery at the heart of the community.
We think you will agree the Wilton Library is Beyond Words.
We are writing to ask for your help.
The Library continues to provide much more in the way of programs and services — for many more people — with less funding. The financial support of Library friends is critical. Wilton Library hopes to raise $85,000 through this event and, with your help, will reach that goal.
There are many ways to support the Library through Beyond Words: consider becoming a sponsor, advertise in our program journal, or donate something for our auction. And don’t forget to come join us for the evening!
Please contact Anne Rowlands, Director of Development, at 203-762-3950 (ext. 216) or arowlands@wiltonlibrary.org, to discuss details with you and answer any questions you might have.
Thank you so much for your help!
Sincerely,
Michele Klink & Jennifer Allbee
