The Lincoln Lawyer is not the kind of movie I usually watch.  However, numerous people have told me that it is much more than a courtroom drama, so I watched it and am glad that I did.  Starring Matthew McConaughey, Marissa Tomei, and William H. Macy, this is an absorbing movie full of great talent.  McConaughey is Mick Haller, a lawyer who knows how to work the system.  He is chauffeured  around in his old Lincoln town car because his license was revoked after a DUI.   Mick is hired to defend a wealthy young man accused of beating a woman.  This young man already has access to his family lawyer, so why does he choose Mick to defend him?  As the story progresses, Mick’s life unravels.  He believes in the justice system, but does it provide justice for all?  Watch this thrilling drama to find out.  The Lincoln Lawyer comes out on DVD on Tuesday, July 12.
